Ed.volve Privacy Policy

Ed.volve Website Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 11, 2026

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

EVOLV.ED SERVICES LLC, doing business as Ed.volve ("Ed.volve," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the website https://edvolvetoday.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from visitors to the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

This policy covers the Site only. Student data handled through our digital learning platform is governed by our separate Student Data Privacy Notice and Parents' Bill of Rights for Data Privacy, which are provided to schools and districts as part of every purchase agreement and are available on request.

At a Glance

  • We collect information you choose to give us (for example, when you contact us, join our mailing list, request a quote, or create an account) and limited technical information about your visit.
  • We use analytics cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Declining does not limit your use of the Site.
  • We never sell your personal information, and we never use it for purposes unrelated to Ed.volve's services.
  • The Site is intended for educators, school leaders, and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information here.
  • You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@edvolvetoday.com.

1. Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information when you voluntarily submit it through the Site or the forms linked from it:

  • Contact and partnership forms. Your name, email address, message, and any files you attach.
  • Mailing list sign-up ("Stay In Contact"). Your name and email address, plus any optional details you include, submitted through a form hosted by Constant Contact.
  • Price quote and direct order requests. Your name, role, email address, phone number, school or district, billing and shipping details, and the products and quantities you are requesting, submitted through a form hosted by Constant Contact.
  • Member accounts and private pages. If you are invited to a private page or create an account, your email address and password, and optionally your name and phone number.
  • Darwin.ed assistant and messaging. The Site offers a chat assistant, "Darwin.ed," powered by our website host's messaging service. If you use it, we collect the content of your messages and any contact details you provide so we can answer your question or follow up. Answers may be generated automatically using artificial intelligence, and every conversation is delivered to our messaging inbox, where a member of our team can read it. Please do not enter student information or other sensitive information in the chat.

You can browse the public pages of the Site without providing any personal information. We do not currently sell products or take payments through the Site: individual copies of our books are purchased on Amazon, and school and district orders are handled by quote and purchase order.

2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Anonymous site statistics. Our website host, GoDaddy, automatically records anonymous, aggregated site-visit information (such as page views and load times) that does not identify you personally.
  • Analytics cookies (with your consent). If you click "Accept" in our cookie banner, Google Analytics and GoDaddy's site analytics set cookies that record pages visited, clicks, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring website, and a random visitor identifier that expires after 60 days. This information is aggregated with that of other visitors and used to understand how the Site is used. If you click "Decline" or close the banner, these tools are not loaded.
  • Security and spam protection. Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information (such as device and application data) to distinguish people from automated traffic. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your questions, requests, and partnership inquiries, including questions asked through the Darwin.ed assistant.
  • Prepare price quotes, vendor setup documents, invoices, and purchase orders, and to fulfill, print, ship, and deliver orders.
  • Send our newsletter and updates about Ed.volve resources, workshops, and services to people who have signed up or done business with us. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Create and manage member accounts and provide access to private pages.
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content, layout, and performance.
  • Protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud, and abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Cookies and Your Choices

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. The Site uses two kinds:

  • Essential cookies that make the Site work (for example, remembering your cookie choice and keeping you signed in to a member account). These do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies described in Section 2, which run only after you accept them in the cookie banner.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies for edvolvetoday.com in your browser, after which the banner will appear again. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings; blocking essential cookies may affect features such as sign-in. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common standard for interpreting these signals, the Site does not respond to them. Our cookie banner is the mechanism for controlling analytics tracking on the Site.

5. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our business. These providers process information on our behalf and under agreements that limit their use of it. They currently include GoDaddy (website hosting, forms, member accounts, and the messaging service behind the Darwin.ed assistant), Constant Contact (mailing list, quote and order request forms, and email delivery), Google (Analytics and reCAPTCHA), and the printing and shipping partners who fulfill bulk book orders.
  • Amazon. Individual copies of our books are sold through Amazon. When you click a "buy" link that takes you to Amazon, your purchase is made with Amazon under Amazon's privacy policy, and we do not receive your personal information from that purchase.
  • Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ed.volve, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Ed.volve is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected individuals of any change in ownership or in how their information is used.

6. Email Communications

If you sign up for our mailing list or do business with us, we may send you newsletters, product updates, and information about workshops and services. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by contacting us. We will still send transactional messages you need, such as quote confirmations, order updates, and account notices.

7. Students, Children, and School Data

The Site is designed for educators, administrators, parents, and other adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Student personally identifiable information that Ed.volve receives from schools and districts through our digital learning platform is handled in accordance with New York State Education Law Section 2-d, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). That data is never collected through this Site, is never sold, and is never used for marketing. Our Student Data Privacy Notice and Parents' Bill of Rights for Data Privacy describe those protections in full and are provided with every school agreement. Parents with questions about their child's education records should contact their child's school or district, which controls those records.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your personal information, subject to any records we must keep for legal, tax, or contractual reasons.
  • Stop sending you marketing emails.

To make a request, email privacy@edvolvetoday.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity by confirming the request from the email address we have on file, and we will respond within 30 days. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Residents of California and other states with privacy laws. Ed.volve does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, does not collect sensitive personal information through the Site, and does not currently meet the thresholds that trigger the California Consumer Privacy Act. We nonetheless honor the requests listed above for all visitors.

9. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact form messages, chat conversations, and inquiries: until the matter is resolved, and generally no longer than two years.
  • Mailing list records: until you unsubscribe or ask to be removed.
  • Quote, order, invoice, and purchase records: for as long as required by tax, accounting, and school purchasing rules, generally seven years.
  • Member account information: until you close your account or ask us to delete it.
  • Analytics data: held by Google Analytics in aggregated form according to its retention settings.

10. How We Protect Information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the size of our business and the sensitivity of the information we hold, consistent with New York's SHIELD Act. These include encrypted (HTTPS) connections across the Site, encrypted form submissions, access limited to the people who need it, and reputable, U.S.-based service providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your private information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.

11. Links and Embedded Content from Other Sites

The Site contains links to other websites (such as Amazon, Google, and Constant Contact) and may embed content hosted elsewhere (such as flipbook previews of our books). Those sites and services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Embedded content may set its own cookies or collect information about your visit just as if you had visited that site directly.

12. Visitors Outside the United States

Ed.volve is based in New York, and the Site and its service providers store and process information in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. By using the Site, you consent to that transfer.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our Site, services, or the law change. When we do, we will post the revised policy here and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the Site before the change takes effect. Please review this page from time to time.
